Busy Season

Greetings Again in Jesus’ Mighty Name,

Yes, once again it’s been a long time between updates. Life is getting busier all the time, though some folks say I’m reaching the age where I should be slowing down a bit.  I don’t know where people find time to create and send all those little forwarded e-mails and such—I can barely find time to read the legitimate personal ones!

Fall Quarter and the School Year is big here at Believers Fellowship. Our children’s school started the day after Labor Day and the kids are still excited to be back at the books—honestly, they love school.

Fall Quarter of Bible Institute is nearly over and Winter Quarter starts on November 27 (stay tuned for announcements of the exact schedule). We ran four separate courses this year, and added a new teacher, Brian Blauer from St. Cloud, MN. Attendance is good and people are getting rooted and grounded in the Word as well as inspired to step out and trust God for some supernaturally empowered preaching of the Gospel.

Busy schedule for the next two months with special speakers and events, as well... Our old friend Don Gossett will with us for a weekend of meetings Nov 16-18. Sergei Timokin, whom we met in Russia some ten years ago, will be visiting again, too. And some of the missionaries we support will be home on furlough. Click here on the "Upcoming Events" calendar for details.

Other than that we're just letting God be God. Sometimes he bypasses all the things we're expecting and believing for and does something even bigger and better! When our faith seems weakest, and the trials of this world are closing in, He suddenly arises and saves the day. Don’t put Him in a box, don’t limit Him to your faith or confession. Our God is way bigger than anything man can say or do!

Until Next Time,
