Daily Specials What's for Lunch? Our daily specials have become a real hit with our regulars. These dishes are made from scratch with loving care. We try to follow a weekly theme, as follows. For particulars, click on the bi-weekly menu or just call us and ask. Prices vary according to the daily special. 11 AM—2 PM Daily Monday Spaghetti & Italian Sandwiches (any number of delicious Italian specialties) Tuesday Ground Chuck Day (alternates between hand-formed 1/2 lb Beckburgers & Meatloaf) Wednesday Midweek Sunday Dinner (pot roast, pork roast, roast chicken, each week something different; available as plate dinner or a sandwich) Thursday Eclectic Ethnic (Most often a curried dish--Indian treats are our specialty!) Friday Hot Dog it's Friday (Special Prices on Chili Dogs, Chicago Dogs, Bratwurst, Polish...) Saturday Mexican Day (Chicken and/or shredded beef tacos, "Nachos Supremos" and more)
We also have DAILY SOUP specials ranging from "Really Beefy Vegetable" and "Dream of Broccoli" to "Potato Corn Chowder" and more. As always, made from scratch, not pre-packaged or bought frozen from some corporate vendor. Chili and Mulligatawny served every day. |
